Bluebell

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 32 feet (9.8 meters) tall. The finger-like stem is orange-yellow, and is dotted with small dark brown spines. The pointed leaves are solid blue or magenta, with turquoise edges. Copious amounts of them grow on flat, gray-green branches that are short, rigid and upright. The leaves are strong, and easily come away when pulled.

It is slow growing, taking 12 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with subtle yellow petals and a yellow center grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of several petals in raised layers. It has an overpowering scent that smells like rich perfume.

The leaf succulent's skin is tough, the gold flesh is smooth, and the copper sap is thin.
