Spiny Aqua Succulent
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This massive leaf succulent grows up to 110 feet (33.5 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stem is orange-yellow, and is covered in brittle olive spines. The tattered-edged, stiff, pointed leaves are found in turquoise and green varieties. Copious amounts of them grow from the base in random directions. The leaves are robust, but take little effort to detach.
It is steady-growing, taking 21 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are aquamarine in the center, deep purple in the middle and aquamarine at the edges, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of many petals in raised layers. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like fermented fruit.
The leaf succulent's skin is tough, the magenta flesh is leathery, and the white sap is thin and can cause blindness if consumed.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
