Bloodfire Moss

This blood red or bronze moss is commonly found blanketing small areas On rotten logs, In rainy mountain ranges, and In moorlands.
It is massive, growing up to 11 inches (28 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is extremely durable.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release hundred of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
