Emerald Clump Moss

This yellow-green moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps On trees, and In bogs.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is very tough.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release millions of spores.
