Waterstem Grass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)

This small, emerald grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in small clumps that are sturdy and flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, bold purple puff.

During the early autumn, it produces a fair amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of large grains.

It can survive a very long time without water.
It is suitable for making strong rope
