Mountain Emerald Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In rainy mountain ranges.
It is large, growing up to 7 inches (18 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they spread and grow quickly, and is overwhelmingly resistant; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release millions of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
