Emerald Clump Moss

This hazel or green moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps On trees, In rainforests, and In bogs.
It is average-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is extremely rigid.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release hundred of spores.
