Emerald Moor Moss

This moss green moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In moorlands.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is overwhelmingly sturdy.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for making paper
It is slightly resistant to fire damage.
