Slate Puff Grass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This large, emerald grass grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The thin stalks grow in sparse patches that are resilient.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, slate puff.

During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.

The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
