Marsh Clump Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In marshes.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and can spread and grow quickly, and is very flimsy.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release millions of spores.
