Climbing Dreamvine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This giant vine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,623 feet (494.7 meters) and growing as high as 653 feet (199.0 meters).
It takes 22 years for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2.9 feet (89 cm) and are thick and twisted.
The finger-like, clammy leaves reach up to 2.2 feet (66 cm) in length. They are lime and cream, and have wavy edges.
During late spring, the vine produces dozens of tiny indigo flowers.
