Crimson Aquamarine Creeper

It takes 9 months for the orange-yellow stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and gnarled.
The pleated, leathery leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are a shade of crimson that gradient shifts to aquamarine at the top, and have rounded edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces hundreds of colossal green flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces a few very large seed pods.
