Goldenheart Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas On rotten logs.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is very durable.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release thousands of spores.
