Amber Vine

This small creeper is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 10 feet (3.0 meters) and growing as high as 406 feet (123.7 meters).

It takes 2 months for the amber stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and fibrous.

The sickle shaped, soft leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are moss green with olive tips, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces several small caramel flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of large seed pods.
