Silkwood Bluebell

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This average-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 92 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of long and flexible, straight stems covered in paper-thin, silky, gray bark, and the wood inside is yellow-brown.

The branches trail down towards the ground that and are covered with thick bunches of giant, asymmetrical, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are either green, or caramel with vivid blue dots, delicate and clammy.

In late summer it produces bunches of medium-sized, azure flowers with pleated petals. They are very delicate and have an intensely strong scent that smells like bleach.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
