Twisted Redvine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 10 feet (3.0 meters) and growing as high as 33 feet (10.1 meters).
It takes 2 months for the red stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are thick and twisted.
The circular, soft leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are dark grey on the edges and olive at the center, and have jagged edges.
During late spring, the vine produces many small slate flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces a handful of tiny fruits.
It is suitable for making strong rope
