Twistvine
Shrub type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This huge shrub grows up to 15 feet (4.6 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 150 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.
It has several branched, straight stems covered in hard, ridged, yellow bark, and the wood inside is gray.
The branches trail down across the ground with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of giant, thick, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are found in light red, cyan and indigo varieties, durable and covered in fine hairs.
In mid-summer it produces copious amounts of small, blood red flowers with shield-shaped petals. They fall easily and have a weak scent that smells like damp.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
