Zigzag Vine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This big bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 175 feet (53.3 meters) and growing as high as 33 feet (10.1 meters).
It takes 20 months for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 9 inches (23 cm) and are smooth and rubbery.
The thick, leathery leaves reach up to 2.1 feet (64 cm) in length. They are either aquamarine or hazel, with olive zig-zags, and have smooth edges.
During late spring, the bine produces copious amounts of average blue flowers.
