Emerald Bog Moss

This emerald moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In bogs, and In rainforests.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very frail.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores.
