Rubber Vine

This small creeper is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 17 feet (5.2 meters) and growing as high as 59 feet (18.0 meters).

It takes 5 months for the green stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are smooth and rubbery.

The finger-like, waxy leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are either aquamarine or hazel, with olive zig-zags, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces handfuls of average slate flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of tiny seed pods.
