Violetstem Grass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This small, violet grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in sparse patches that are resilient.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, black flower.
During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
