Emerald Shade Moss

It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly resistant; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release thousands of spores.
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
