Lumibloom

This average-sized shrub grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 137 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several slender, straight stems covered in thick, waxy, dark brown bark, and the wood inside is black.

The branches trail down across the ground with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of giant, wispy, leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are amber and cyan, delicate and fuzzy.

In mid-spring it produces hundreds of tiny, red blossoms with many layers of petals with a tube-like floral cup. They are hardy and have an intensely strong scent that smells like new books.

In late autumn tiny long, curved fruits ripen. The rough magenta skin is stretchy and inedible, and the slightly crunchy dark grey flesh is sweet and powdery. The yellow seeds are large and are located in the centre of the fruit.
