Copperpetal

Flower type: Biennial (Stores water in its stem)

This big flower grows up to 4.8 feet (1.5 meters) tall. Its light brown or gold stem is thin, and the small, moss green leaves are asymmetrical with tattered edges. 25 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Two large flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 37 cm (14.6 inches) wide, with bronze petals that gradient shift to copper on the outer edge. The central disk is peach. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight bowl. They fall easily.

It has a powerful scent that smells like varnish, and it has lots of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind.

Several parts of the flower have medicinal properties.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for making strong rope
