Emerald Heath Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In heathlands, and In bogs.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is extremely light.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release thousands of spores.

It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
