Silvervine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 19 feet (5.8 meters)0.

It takes 8 months for the silver stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The perforated, crispy leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are olive and aquamarine, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces thousands of large drab yellow flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of tiny fruits.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
