Hazeltuft Grass

This giant, green grass grows up to 37 feet (11.3 meters) tall. The pleated stalks grow in extensive patches that are robust and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, hazel tuft.

During the late summer, it produces copious amounts of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of medium-sized grains.
