Copper Tail Grass

This giant, gray grass grows up to 31 feet (9.4 meters) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in extensive patches that are rigid and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, copper tail.

During the early summer, it produces lots of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few tiny grains.
