Slate Spine Cactus

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This massive cactus grows up to 168 feet (51.2 meters) tall. It splits randomly along the body to form 5 wispy stems. Each stem is silver and yellow-green, and is covered in dozens of rigid slate spines.

It is fast growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with orange petals on the lower layer and dark orange petals decorated with beige dots on the inner layer. The central disk is brown grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 16 petals. It has an overpowering scent that smells like soap.

The cactus's skin is rock-hard, the caramel flesh is rough, and the brown sap is thin and can cause blindness if consumed.

It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
The pollen is overwhelmingly toxic to people but not to certain animals.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
