This big vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 110 feet (33.5 meters) and growing as high as 10 feet (3.0 meters).

It takes 5 years for the moss green stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 6 inches (15 cm) and are smooth and waxy.

The wide, soft leaves reach up to 2.7 feet (81 cm) in length. They are dark orange and dark brown, and have serrated edges.

Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
