Violet Spineleaf

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 30 feet (9.1 meters) tall. The wide stem is violet, and is covered in handfuls of flexible brown spines. The jagged-edged, very narrow and elongated leaves are copper on the edges and white at the center. Handfuls of them grow from the base in alternating layers of 3, then 6, then 9, and so on. The leaves are durable, and detach easily.

It is fast growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with petals that are purple on the underside and brown on the top grow at the top, reappearing after 5 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 18 curved petals. It has a fairly strong scent that smells like a woman.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the magenta flesh is smooth, and the lime sap is thin.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for use as a construction material
