Hazel Mountain Moss

This light brown and hazel moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In rainy mountain ranges, and In damp forests.
It is huge, growing up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is extremely sturdy.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release dozens of spores.
