Emerald Vine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This colossal bine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,674 feet (815.0 meters) and growing as high as 376 feet (114.6 meters).
It takes 41 years for the emerald stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 1.8 feet (56 cm) and are tough and woody.
The circular, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 3.6 feet (1.1 meters) in length. They are washed-out yellow at the bottom and olive with orange splotches at the top, and have smooth edges.
During late spring, the bine produces a handful of colossal dark red flowers.
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
