Cyan Spinevine

This enormous caudiciform grows up to 136 feet (41.5 meters) tall. The very narrow, elongated stem is cyan, and is covered in thousands of fine, white, hair-like spines. It has a angular, very thick, caramel trunk atop a very thick web of rough, exposed roots. The branches are stocky and lime green and are tall, rigid and upright.

The serrated-edged, wispy leaves are crimson and purple. They are strong, but easily come away when pulled.

It is slow growing, taking 12 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with bronze petals on the lower layer and gentle red petals decorated with caramel dots on the inner layer. The central disk is turquoise grow at the top, reappearing once every 5 years. The flower head is shaped like a tube made up of 5 raised, narrow petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like sweat.

The caudiciform's skin is nearly impenetrable, the turquoise flesh is soft, and the aquamarine sap is thin.
