Lilacwood Creeper
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This huge creeper is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,297 feet (395.3 meters) and growing as high as 531 feet (161.8 meters).
It takes 36 years for the red stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 2.3 feet (69 cm) and are smooth and woody.
The very narrow and elongated, waxy leaves reach up to 2.8 feet (84 cm) in length. They are hazel and blue, and have rounded edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces hundreds of giant lilac flowers.
