Emerald Heath Moss

This yellow-green moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In heathlands.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is slightly hardy; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
