Vomitbloom

Flower type: Annual (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This large flower grows up to 6.0 feet (1.8 meters) tall. Its emerald stem is wispy, and the large, orange leaves are dark green on the underside and are very thin with ripped edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Two large flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 39 cm (15.4 inches) wide, with pastel blue petals that gradient shift to peach on the outer edge. The central disk is brown. The flower head is shaped like a tube made up of dozens of tightly layered, narrow petals. They detach easily.

It has an intensely strong scent that smells like vomit, and it has very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird and is ignored by most insect species.
