Magenta Puff Grass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This large, brown grass grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The very thin stalks grow in sparse patches that are flimsy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, magenta puff.
During the early summer, it produces a modest amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of medium-sized grains.
