Silver

Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its stem)

This short tree grows up to 6 meters (19.7 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 102 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a slender, angular trunk covered in paper-thin, rough, brown-green speckled bark, and inside, the hard wood is black with white speckles.

The branches are very short and thin and are covered with thick bunches of sticky, giant, 6 pointed leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are silver and magenta.

In late summer it forms large, orange, winged seeds that float and land far away.

The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.

It is frequently struck by lightning.
It is suitable for making paper
