Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This short cactus grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. It splits at the base to form 3 spear shaped stems. Each stem is orange, and is covered in sharp spines. The round body is red, and is covered in thick sheets of flexible bright green spines.
It is steady-growing, taking 8 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with grey petals that gradient shift to sky blue on the outer edge. The central disk is cream, grow at the top, reappearing after 8 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals in raised layers. It has a powerful scent that smells like fresh linen.
The cactus's skin is thin, the beige flesh is sticky, and the yellow sap is thin.
The seeds are toxic to people but not to certain animals.
