Winding Green
Tree type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short tree grows up to 6 meters (19.7 feet) tall and lives for over 2,000 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 2896 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a narrow, wavy trunk covered in paper-thin, waxy, brown-green bark, and inside, the hard wood is white with black speckles.
The abundance of branches are short and thin, with thousands of twigs covered with copious amounts of miniature, emerald needles. The needles themselves are strong.
In late summer it produces tiny, yellow, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.
The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
