Sunset

This large flower grows up to 3.4 feet (1.0 meters) tall. Its orange-yellow stem is wispy and splits into dozens of branching stems a quarter of the way up, and the small, gray leaves are needle-like with smooth edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Each stem splits 6 to 8 times; a single giant flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 79 cm (31.1 inches) wide, with ashy orange petals that gradient shift to lilac on the outer edge. The central disk is peach. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 curved petals. They are sturdy.

It has a strong scent that smells like fresh linen, and it has an average amount of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind.
