Lilacvine

This average-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 50 feet (15.2 meters) and growing as high as 73 feet (22.3 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 18 months for the amber stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are smooth and waxy.

The broad, flat, waxy leaves reach up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) in length. They are found in black and lilac varieties, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the vine produces thousands of colossal yellow flowers.
