Red Moss

This drab red moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In moorlands, In rainforests, and In marshes.
It is enormous, growing up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is extremely resilient.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
