Indigo creeper

This short creeper is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 16 feet (4.9 meters) and growing as high as 485 feet (147.8 meters).

It takes 5 months for the green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are thick and twisted.

The slender, pointed, waxy leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are indigo and purple, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces copious amounts of average washed-out orange flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of large seed pods.
