Graybark

This giant shrub grows up to 15 feet (4.6 meters) tall and lives for around 49 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many sturdy, straight stems covered in thin, ridged, gray bark, and the wood inside is pale brown.

The branches are short stubs with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with very large amounts of large, slender, pointed, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are brown on the sides and black at the center, light and smooth.

It produces thick bunches of tiny, blue flowers with stiff, pointed petals. They are hardy and have a fairly strong scent that smells like pepper. In mid-autumn it forms medium-sizedvibrant yellow, tough-shelled seeds.
