Orange Grass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)

This giant, orange grass grows up to 12 feet (3.7 meters) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in sparse patches that are rigid.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, yellow flower.

During the late summer, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of large grains.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
