Skybrush

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 138 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many sturdy, twisting stems covered in rough, brown and grey bark, and the wood inside is pale brown-grey.

The branches are short stubs with thousands of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of tiny, asymmetrical, leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are solid sky blue or brown, with amber streaks, robust and smooth.

It produces lots of medium-sized, pink flowers with fan-like petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are hardy and have a delicate scent that smells like paint. In late summer it forms tinysilver, shelled seeds.
