Lime Green Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In bogs, and On rotten logs.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are exceptionally hardy, and is slightly resistant; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release millions of spores.
