Zig-zag Black

This enormous bine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 3,174 feet (967.4 meters) and growing as high as 340 feet (103.6 meters).

It takes 32 years for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 1.0 foot (30 cm) and are rough and woody.

The spear shaped, waxy leaves reach up to 2.4 feet (74 cm) in length. They are either black, or pink with bright green zig-zags, and have tattered edges.
